Here's an outfit post comeback with a sad twist: my camera decided to pixelize all images due to problems i'm still not clear on, so I tried to revive the images by editing them as though they came from a film camera - hence the title. The unfortunate justification behind me not posting regular outfit posts is that, like many human beings out there, i've been in a (style) slump. With an internship coming my way i've also come to a brutal slap-in-the-face realization that 90% of the summer pieces I own are t-shirts and casual wear (as much as i'd like to lounge in baggy clothes 24/7, it is unfortunately unacceptable in a workplace environment), so i've also been on the hunt for blouses and semi-formal attire to change things up. This outfit that I pulled together after a much-needed Topshop trip is leaning more towards the mature side, but it also comes with a retro vibe, like something my mother would've worn in her 20s if she was hip in her time. Although retro themes and outfits are nothing new with high street brands like Topshop and American Apaprel that constantly contribute and offer retro-styled pieces like cropped tops, high-waisted jeans, and "mom jeans", it's still refreshing to see people rocking the 70s-90s look with their own modern twist.
I'll be posting more outfit posts as I gradually snap out of my "slump", and I hope you'll like what I have for now!
